Web hosting is what allows your website to be seen on the internet. When a user types a domain into their browser or clicks on your website on google, a server in a datacentre receives that request and returns the code of your website for it to be displayed. When you buy web hosting, you are paying for that server to serve your website.
Can I create custom email addresses?
▼
Yes, many people buy web hosting not only to host their website, but to allow them to receive and send emails from custom email addresses. If you want the email: example@domainname.com, you would need to purchase domainname.com and any one of our web hosting packages along with it. You would then need to login to cPanel to create the email account “example” or contact us to set it up for you.
Can I upgrage/downgrade my hosting if I need to?
▼
Yes, if you find your website needs more room to expand or you are expecting an influx in traffic, you can upgrade to a higher package at any time. Or if you find yourself not using all the features of a package, downgrade at any time.
A domain name is a unique name that represents your website. For example: nebla.co.uk, facebook.com, google.com. Users will use this domain to access your website or send you emails. Use our domain name search tool above to purchase one.
Does it matter if I have already bought a domain from somewhere else?
▼
No, but you will need to point this domain name to our nameservers (ns1.nebla.co.uk and ns2.nebla.co.uk). Or alternatively you can transfer your domain name to us instead. To do this you will need to contact the registrar that you bought the domain name from and update the nameservers (This can usually be done via their website). If you would like to transfer a domain, use our tool.
Can I host multiple websites from one hosting plan?
▼
Yes, this is called “parking a domain”. The number of domains you can park (and therefore the amount of websites you can have) depends on the web hosting package that you purchase.
